- SBSydney BernsteinJul 1, 20251.0If you are considering buying a car from Paul, make sure to take it to another mechanic for a second opinion. I bought a 2007 Honda CR-V from him in 2023. The A/C was broken when I bought it, but he didn't disclose that information and confidently said I wouldn't have to get any major work done on the car for a long time. He talks a big talk. Acts like he cares about you. I was excited to find a "trustworthy" mechanic and brought my newly purchased car to him to replace the A/C compressor a month after buying the car. A year or so later he replaced the rear breaks and the serpentine belt and did an alignment. After I got my car back my car was squealing, the alignment was still off, my car steering wheel started shaking, AND the a/c went out again barely after a year the compressor was replaced. When I called to talk to him, he brushed me off and downplayed the issues, and encouraged me to bring in the car to get the A/C replaced again. I genuinely feel ripped off by Paul. I paid a dumb amount of money in CASH for this car, considering the actual value of the car. He knew the A/C was broken. He knew I was desperate to get into a new car. I have not used Paul's for a year and would never go back.
