  There is a dude (with messed up eye- for identification purposes) thats a super rude bully. Had a reservation and was ready to go, after he checked the reservation he goes “what were they thinking?”. He didnt like the price I got and refused to lend the car claiming he doesnt have that available and that I needed a credit card which I had agreed prior to pay extra deposit and this was the right location with that policy. Run from here. Is like a funeral environment

  I would give zero stars if possible. Rent at your own risk because it's like playing Roulette waiting to see if your reservation will be there waiting for you. In our case, we had to wait 2 hours and were told that it's perfectly fine to drop the van off after-hours (after 5 pm) only to be charged a $75 fee for doing so. To compensate for waiting in their parking lot for 2 hours, which wrecked our arrival time in Denver, and for overcharging us $75, we were offered a laughable $25 gift card for future rentals. Hilariously awful office to deal with. Then a few weeks later, our $58 charge for tolls arrived. Evidently you can register online to avoid the $50 toll processing fee, but here again, this office failed to divulge such helpful & cost-saving info.

  Budget franchise owned by an investment group. Paperwork not prepared in advance, all put me behind schedule. However the clerk was friendly despite having a stressful day. Turn-in was easy.

  The service here is excellent. They people are very helpful and the location is convenient. However, it's very unfortunate that Budget doesn't offer a Toll Pass that renters can purchase in advance of their trips. It can make paying tolls in KS and surrounded states very difficult.

  We prepaid for a Tahoe.. arrived and apparently they do not rent Tahoe’s in any of the KC Metro. So we settled with a minivan ( which is cheaper than a Tahoe) but since we prepaid they are unable to refund us for purchasing a more expensive car. They then told us to call the customer service number.. which takes you to a call center.. not the KC Metro Budget. Turns out since the Overland Park location off Shawnee Mission Parkway is privately owned there is nothing they can do. Very unfortunate and unhappy with how this turned out & how there was no extra effort put forth to make the situation right.
