- E6Ej 6MTDec 29, 20251.0Update: I finally got time to look at the damage and it’s worse than I thought. My exhaust leaks everywhere. Super upset… I Went in to get a car wash in Manhattan but before I went in I asked a girl named Emma that if the car wash was low car friendly and she said yes that I should be fine and low cars come in regularly. As I was at the end of the wash one of the grates were lifted up or something and it caught my exhaust the girl named Emma even said the same thing. I told them I was stuck and they kept telling me to keep going and my exhaust ended up on the floor causing damage and they said they would do an incident report but they ended up calling me saying my car was too old and that the refund they gave me for the wash should cover the damages and saying they looked it up. My exhaust is very expensive and it wasn’t a regular exhaust clamp. The v clamp alone was 50$. I would not recommend this car wash. Customer service was bad because they brought out duck tape thinking it was going to work but it would’ve caused more damage if the duck tape had melted. so I had to take out the exhaust myself in the car wash.
