I called them because I only work up the street from them and I figured I needed to leave the car running once I got someone to jump it after work. I was extremely happy when I called that the location was just 2 doors up from me and I was going to have them check the battery. Once I checked the battery I planned on purchasing the battery that SAME exact day if the would place it in the vehicle for me. Tech Milan checked my battery told me " The machine states it LOW but still good, so you might have an alternator or charging system issue. Well, My wife suggested another opinion, FIRESTONE, we paid for the 2nd opinion had Starter, alternator and battery checked, and IT WAS the BATTERY!!!! We bought a new battery and we were off and running great, but no thanks to this place that lied and told me I had a good battery. Don't trust their battery checks or what they say. They were not friendly at all, and on top........... Of that that were WRONG. Phil was the only nice one

Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
