I’m from KS and you only have a few companies to choose from on the KS highway patrol website. Non are located in our state and after choosing Lowcost Interlock initially which was a major mistake and if you ever had them or read their reviews you’ll know why. I switched to Intoxalock and worked with Nicole Warren. She was incredible at first going beyond her duties but once I dropped my car off for installation I was unable to reach her nor would anyone from their office transfer me to her. I was approved for our states low cost program which gives us discount off all costs. But when I went to pay the $87.50 installation I was told I would have to pay $297.00. I tried calling Intoxalock but the customer service said they couldn’t help. I was even told my calibrations would be free. My car set there for almost a week cause I didn’t have the money especially after paying the other company install and removal. Luckily the shop is letting me make payments but my question is who is gonna refund me the money I will be out. The one thing I haven’t did was sign the lease and I am not until I get some answers and in writing. They are all a joke and most aren’t even a credited company with BBB. I would suggest read the reviews or even ask your state for a copy of each companies audit which they are required to do and we have a right to ask for. I’d also get everything they quote you in writing and make sure you ask for your reps direct line cause they make it impossible after installation for you to connect back to them. Just be careful with the ones who have a history of faulty devices cause they have the power to call your states dmv and have you violated over anything which only adds more time to the program. Cause basically it’s all about the money and the longer your required to have the device the more money for them!

When you young things in your pass will catch up with you when you trying to get your life right. So when you have court dates in the State of Missouri you better take care of it because they will make sure you pay for it do as we have tell you not what you want a do so I'm just saying they don't play in Jefferson City amen.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance.
