  We had an incredible experience with Monikka at Sixt in the Keflavik Airport. While all other companies had a 1.5+ hour wait to pick up vehicles, Sixt was able to get us into our rental almost immediately. Monikka was helpful and thorough in explaining Iceland traffic rules and giving us directions. I will book with Sixt every time after our wonderful experience!

  Très déçue par mon expérience avec Sixt. Après plusieurs locations chez eux, c'est malheureusement la première fois que je rencontre autant de difficultés. Je recommande aux futurs clients de lire très attentivement l'ensemble des conditions et des lignes tarifaires avant de valider leur réservation. Dans mon cas, la présentation des options et des frais liés à la taxe d'immatriculation m'a semblé ambiguë. J'étais persuadée que ces frais étaient inclus, mais ils m'ont finalement été facturés et ma demande de révision a été refusée par le service client. Autre point décevant : nous avions besoin d'un véhicule diesel pour effectuer un tour complet de l'Islande (environ 2 000 km), mais nous avons reçu un véhicule essence, ce qui a engendré un coût carburant bien plus élevé que prévu. Le plus regrettable reste l'absence de geste commercial malgré mes explications et ma fidélité en tant que cliente. Une entreprise se juge aussi à sa capacité à prendre en compte les difficultés rencontrées par ses clients. Je partage cet avis afin que chacun puisse réserver en toute connaissance de cause et vérifier avec attention tous les détails de son contrat avant son départ.

  Pick up was quite quick and was easy on Saturday morning. Joanna was very friendly and helpful. 6 stars for Joanna! Explained everything well, answered our questions. Pick up is in the terminal now in an under construction area. Was a little confusing area, I think we were supposed to take a number ? 🤷‍♀️ we managed and the experience for pick up was great! Have rented before from Sixt in Iceland and also had a great experience 😊 I hate the car it’s self. Hyundai I30, it beeps all the time. 1km over speed limit and it’s beeping. It’s also bit low to the ground for me but I booked the compact size. So that’s on me. Otherwise it does the job, I’d just never want to drive that model again lol Would def use Sixt again!
