  Experiencia muy buena el alquiler de un Dacia Duster en el aeropuerto de Keflavik con Alamo. Hicimos la reserva con StressFreeCarRental y todo fue según lo previsto y sin sorpresas. La entrega y devolución rápidas y eficientes. A destacar la ayuda de Larry cuando fuimos a recoger el coche. Nos informó de todo y nos ayudó en lo que necesitamos. ¡Muchas gracias!

  Initial reservation, pickup, and drop-off were very smooth. I was recommended by staff to take photos of the car prior to leaving the facility: something that previous rental agencies kept to themselves. Information concerning traffic culture, parking payments, and speed cameras was also provided. Would highly recommend!

  We picked the car up, had several problens right away, which were fixed in quick succession before we drove off from Keflavik airport. They were helpful with a contact for a car parking fine which was eventually quashed. I would use them again.

  We had booked our rental car through Check24, but when we arrived at Alamo, we were refused the car because the name on the booking did not match the name on the credit card. I only had a Trade Republic Visa Debit Card, and even the credit card of my girlfriend, who was registered as an additional driver and was present at the counter, was not accepted. The employee at the front desk was very friendly and genuinely tried to help. He even spoke with his manager, but unfortunately they still refused to hand over the vehicle because of this policy. I appreciate his effort, but the policy itself is extremely customer unfriendly and, in our opinion, reflects poor management. We even offered to pay a very large security deposit upfront if that would solve the issue, with the understanding that it would be refunded after the rental. However, we were told that this was not possible because of the system. We also asked whether they could simply cancel the reservation and create a new booking in the correct name at the counter, but they told us they were unable to make manual bookings and that new reservations could only be made online. After leaving Alamo, we went to Lotus Car Rental, where we were able to rent a car immediately without any issues. They did not require the credit card to be in the same name as the booking, and the whole process was quick and straightforward. Because of this experience, we cannot recommend Alamo at all. A rental company should offer practical solutions instead of enforcing such an inflexible policy, especially when the additional driver is present and several reasonable alternatives have been offered.

  I had an excellent experience with Alamo, thanks to Damjan. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, and genuinely took the time to understand all of our needs and concerns. They made the entire rental process smooth and stress-free, explaining everything clearly and making sure we were comfortable with every detail. What we appreciated the most was his exceptional customer service and flexibility—he even waived the fee for adding a second driver, which was a very kind gesture and greatly appreciated. All employees are a real credit to the Alamo team. If you're renting a car, I highly recommend asking for them. Thank you for making our experience so easy and enjoyable!
