  Very negative experience. I do not recommend this car rental company. We had problems from the very beginning: they did not pick us up at the airport at the agreed time, so we had to take a taxi to the office, which was about 2 km away. When they finally handed over the vehicle, it was in poor condition and had a warning light illuminated on the dashboard. During the trip, we also noticed signs that it had suffered a significant impact to the front end and found that several sensors were not working properly. We informed the company of these issues and requested a replacement vehicle, but they refused and claimed that there was no problem. Fortunately, the external insurance provider we had taken out intervened and filed a claim. I consider it unacceptable to provide a vehicle in this condition and fail to respond appropriately to potential safety issues. I have travelled to Iceland several times and rented vehicles from different companies. Without a doubt, this was the worst experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this company at all.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic experience renting our car at Enterprise at Keflavík Airport, and a huge part of that was because of Pawel. Pawel truly went above and beyond to make our experience easy, smooth, and enjoyable. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was taken care of. You could tell that he takes pride in his work and in helping customers. Travel can sometimes be stressful, especially when you're picking up a rental car in another country, but Pawel made the entire process feel effortless. He was patient, welcoming, and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Enterprise is very lucky to have someone like Pawel representing them. He was fantastic, and we would absolutely rent from Enterprise at Keflavík Airport again! Thank you, Pawel, for making our Iceland trip start off on such a great note! 🇮🇸🚗

  I had a very good experience with Alamo at Keflavík Airport (KEF). One thing to know when you arrive is that the front desk is not located inside the airport. Instead, there is an Alamo representative holding a sign outside who will guide you to the shuttle bus. The rental office is only about 5 minutes away and, conveniently, Alamo is the first stop after leaving the airport. At the office, I was assisted by Marcin. He was efficient, clear, and straight to the point, without the unnecessary complications or sales pressure you sometimes experience with other rental agencies. I made my reservation through Booking.com, and the whole process was smooth. The SUV assigned to me was clean, in great condition, and I had absolutely no issues with it during the 15 days I drove around Iceland. Returning the vehicle was just as easy. I arrived around 5:00 AM and was assisted by Michael. The inspection was quick and straightforward, with no unnecessary complications. I also chose to pay for the fuel through Alamo, which was considerably cheaper and saved me the trouble of finding a gas station before returning the car. I definitely recommend this option. Another important detail for anyone with an early flight: the shuttle bus to the airport starts running at 5:00 AM. Since Alamo is the first pickup stop, you should have no problem finding a seat or space for your luggage. This is a big plus, because by the third rental-car stop the bus was already completely full. The total ride back to the airport took around 15 minutes because of the additional stops. Overall, my experience with Alamo KEF was excellent from pickup to return: efficient service, no surprises, a reliable and clean vehicle, and a very convenient shuttle setup. After 15 days driving around Iceland without a single issue, I would definitely rent from them again.

  Its easy to go offsite at Keflavik for a rental car. When you arrive at the airport look for the attendant with Alamo sign. They will direct you to the offsite rental car bus/shuttle. Its a short walk. It looks like a city bus, but has a small sign on the front window for the offsite rental cars. Alamo is the first stop. All desk agents will be ready forbyour arrival. Take the insurance. Adam W. was a big help at the airport with his welcome and guidance.

  A locação foi rápida e tranquila. A devolução é bem ágil, não criam empecilhos para devolução do veículo. O shuttle disponibilizado chega de 10 em 10min, mas o percurso é demorado, pois para em vários locais, portanto chegue com ANTECEDÊNCIA. No total, do momento em que chegamos na Alamo até chegar ao aeroporto foram 40min e não havia ninguém para devolver o carro antes de nós
