- JJJessica JerabekDec 13, 20253.0Leaving a 3 since everything I went there for, is complete.. however this experience was not the best and if this was my first experience with Valvoline, I am not sure I would be back. Usually I am in and out with no issues, but this time was less than smooth. The girl that checked me in was sweet, they scanned my car and asked what I needed. I let her know I needed an oil change and new front wipers and she gave me estimates of the cost of everything, scanned my coupon, etc. Then she went to work on another vehicle, while another guy started working on my oil change. Some time passed, they checked lights, air filter, etc - the basics. At this point it had been about 10- 15 minutes. A different man came over and was trying to process the transaction, but my front wipers had not been handled. I notified him of that and he then questioned me "oh you need wipers TOO?" as if someone else in another bay needed wipers and it was an inconvenience. I told him yes, that the girl had made notes and let me know the pricing but he said it was on there. He hollered around asking for other people to bring him wipers and walked somewhere else. Finally he came back and started installing them and it took another 10-15 minutes. I finally paid and asked for a printed receipt per usual. He prints me on and hands it to me. I'm there for 35 minutes, which yes overall is still quick in the grand scheme of car world, but this Valvoline normally has me done and out in 20 minutes or less so it was just a little surprising. Then I get all the way home and realize that he handed me someone else printed receipt so Curt, sorry I have your receipt. Luckily, they automatically email one as well, so I still got one, but I don't have a printer so its nice to get a printed one there. It also leaves me feeling uneasy because that means they handed my printed receipt to someone else right after me, who now has my name, number, address, car make, model, VIN, etc. Debating if I will return to this Valvoline again or not.
