  I went to Belle Tire in Westfield, Indiana for a simple tire plug. Instead, I was told my brakes were in “critical condition” and that I supposedly had only 5% brake life left. They immediately tried to sell me all four brakes and rotors for around $500 and said they could do it right now. Something didn’t sit right, so I declined. I went home, bought my own brake parts from AutoZone, and used the only day off I had — Thanksgiving morning — to inspect and replace them myself. When I removed the FIRST wheel, it was obvious the brakes were nowhere near critical. They had well over 20,000 miles of life remaining. Let that sink in. This wasn’t a mistake. This wasn’t a “difference of opinion.” This was either gross incompetence or a deliberate attempt to scare a customer into an unnecessary $500 repair. If I hadn’t known better, I would have wasted hundreds of dollars on work my car did NOT need. I’m posting this because I’m sure I’m not the only person they’ve tried this on. If you don’t work on your own car, get a second opinion before agreeing to anything here. Unacceptable and dishonest.

  Belle Tire took care of me when my aging Dodge Caliber needed new front struts, at around 48K miles. Asst Manager Ernie was great to work with, gave me a good price, and the work was done competently and on time -- no issues, no hassles. I highly recommend them.

  Made an appt to get 4 tires. They told me the tires would be ordered and would be there by the time of the appt. When I arrived there was no place to park . There were alot of people in the waiting area. As I waited to be helped and confirm my appt, a young man came up and said he couldn’t wait any longer and he had to pick up his kids at school. Then when they tried to take care of me they found the appt but said they didn’t have the tires. The person I spoke to when I originally called never got the tires ordered. They couldn’t tell me when they might get the tires. I guess they are so busy they don’t need my business. I walked out and will take my business elsewhere.

  I had a very bad experience here. I needed an oil change and tire rotation. I arrived for my appointment at 6:00 PM, but I didn’t get my car back until after 8:00 PM. Because it took so long, I noticed that even though I arrived before many other customers, I ended up being their very last one. Several people who came after me were finished long before I was. I felt discriminated against — maybe they dislike Asian customers. When I asked, they told me they were “aligning the wheels.” But no place should take two hours just for an oil change and tire rotation. On top of that, they didn’t even check or inflate my tires. When I asked, they told me to go pump them myself at the station outside (even though it was snowing heavily) because the staff had already left. This is ridiculous! My family and I will absolutely never come back here again.

  We have used belle tired a couple times and the last one was when we kept hearing a sound on the right side of our car. Turns out we had a damaged rim and it was caught and fixed quickly in 24 hours at Belle Tire. We did have to buy a couple parts and get back again but our car was as good as new.
