I didn't catch the man's name, but he was an older gentleman with glasses who helped me get it installed into my truck because I forgot my tools to do it myself. He was extremely helpful, patient, and kind. The guy inside who rang me up was kind, too. Great store staff all-around. I'll definitely be back if / when I need anything for my vehicles.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
