  I went to rent a tractor and trailer back in February, I got there and they tried giving me a different tractor with 4 of the tires almost completely bald. They then changed them out (which took about 3 hours) and sent me on my way. I continued renting for about a month and a half and my driver cracked the front bumper. I then took it back (expecting to not get some of my $5000 deposit back). I got multiple estimates from other repair shops, ranging from $1700-$2300, before returning the truck. After a couple weeks, they sent a bill for $4000. I looked up the part number for the bumper that was on the invoice and they marked it up by over $1000. They also charged $500/hour for labor. After reaching out multiple times, all we would get was "yeah that seems unusually high, I'll have to talk to the service department". Then they called back a couple weeks later and didn't leave a voicemail. My wife finally called back and they said they will "credit the account $990" Still very expensive, seems like they do anything to take your money. I also just bought a truck from them before getting this bill. They sold me a truck with bad batteries (which I will admit they sent somebody out to fix, free of charge). I am planning on buying more trucks very soon, but not through Penske anymore. They lost my business for life due to greed and dishonesty. I never got a straight forward answer as to why they were charging me so much. I feel like even $3000 is still very expensive, considering I also paid $850 dollars for the week it was in the shop on top of that. This is no way to run a business. I highly recommend staying clear of this place. I will also be contacting the BBB to investigate why the repair costs were so expensive and why nobody knows where that extra $1000 was being charged to.

  I called this location needing a box truck quickly... and the help I got from Gabby was EXCEPTIONAL. She was very patient with me, explained everything in details, allowed me to ask a million questions and then lovingly worked everything out for me. I am VERY pleased with the service and price I received and will definitely be back. If I could give Gabby 100 stars I would ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Very bad experience for my small business in Northwest Indiana. Had a big day planned and need a rental for delivery, for one of my best customers. I am there at the counter on time at 7AM at home depot and my truck is not there, blinker problem supposedly. Needed 2 more hours to drive there from south bend. I can not fall that far behind schedule as I had the reservation made. They have also given away my truck before in a separate instance and also had huge price increases during Covid. The sales rep Paul that I talked to was friendly and communicated very well but this is a company you can not trust or do business with. Enterprise is way more reliable and competitive on prices even in tough times. Sorry penske will not be back and I am warning others as well. Only a matter of time before they let you down too
