I had a really great experience here as a first time car buyer. My husband and I went in for a service on his car and decided to just browse one of the used cars on the lot knowing we were going to be in the market soon but not sure if we would be able to make it work at this time.
We ended up working with Anthony and could not have asked for a better first time car buying experience or a better guy to work with. He was just so genuinely kind, personable, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. Not once did he make me feel pressured and he walked me through every step of the way and explained everything very thoroughly since I had never done this before.
Would definitely recommend this dealership and especially working with Anthony.
Mike in finance was very friendly and helpful as well!

Stopped in to look at an Outback and compare it with a Crosstrek. Joe Sir, the salesman, came out and introduced himself. I explained that I was torn between the two models. We test-drove a few cars, and I ended up liking the Outback Wilderness. It was a little over my budget since I was originally looking for a used one, but this one had about 5K miles, so I thought it was a decent deal.
When Joe printed the payment sheet, I noticed extra fees — about $1,800 for LoJack and $2,000+ for Z-Guard. I asked what those were, and he said they were mandatory fees since they install LoJack on all their cars. Honestly, that made no sense to me. If you already installed it, that should be built into the vehicle’s price — not tacked on like an afterthought. I told him how I wasn’t a fan of those surprise fees, so he lowered each by about $400. I said I’d sleep on it and get back to him.
Later that day, I saw a similar Outback at Subaru Castle with about the same mileage. When I asked their salesman about LoJack or Z-Guard fees, he said they weren’t mandatory and they don’t charge for them. I called Joe to tell him I liked the car but wasn’t happy with their extra fees. He agreed to remove the LoJack fee and drop Z-Guard to $1,400, explaining that the Castle car wasn’t certified pre-owned, so I’d have to pay to certify it. That’s what made me go back with Zeigler.
The next morning, I arrived around 9:30. The finance guy tried to sell me an extra bumper-to-bumper warranty. I told him no — I was already paying for Z-Guard. He kept pushing it, so I said, “If you can give me the warranty for the same price as the Z-Guard and remove the Z-Guard, we have a deal.” He agreed, which told me right then that Joe hadn’t been honest about it being “mandatory.”
By the time I finished signing everything, it was almost 11:30, and I had to leave for another appointment. I didn’t have time to look over all the charges closely — I mainly focused on the monthly payment, which dropped about $20 after the swap. Later that day, I saw that the warranty cost an extra $3,700!
I went back the next week to remove it. The finance guy then told me I’d lose my 100,000-mile certified coverage if I did — which made no sense at all.
To top it off, I texted Joe asking about the floor mats and first-aid kit he said would come with the car. Never heard back. Seems like once the sale was done, he was done too.
This was my first and last time dealing with this dealership. I’ll be taking my car to Subaru Castle for service instead. Just a heads-up — be careful with the sales and finance tactics here. They’ll try to sneak in extras and make them sound “mandatory” when they’re not.
