- ARAmber Riddle6 days ago1.0I showed up for an oil change and was told they were out of filters for my particular vehicle because they used the last filter earlier in the day but that I could go and grab a filter from down the street at AutoZone and they would be able to do the oil change. I went and got the filter and came back and when they were processing my payment I asked if they would be subtracting the price of the oil filter and was told "NO". It would have been really nice to know that BEFORE running around and spending the extra money on the filter PLUS the cost of the oil change because I would've gone elsewhere. Seems a little crazy to me that I had to pay extra for the service because they were out of supplies. Edit: on my drive home the check engine light came on so I checked under the hood and there was oil dumped everywhere which tells me they didn't bother to use a funnel when filling it. I'm not sure of the cause of the of the engine light yet but I will be going in tomorrow morning to speak to them about this. Absolutely insane. 😡
