I then went to a big box store and found the wiper blades I wanted — cheaper and without a lot of intrusive questions.

If I had known I couldn't return it I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. There was no sign posted that I could see about no returns on electrical parts and now I'm out 21 dollars for A relay I could have picked up at my son in laws junk yard for free.

Prices are too high for these items, not because bought at Advance Auto Parts but because its the cost at other chain stores. It's inflation. The bulb shown twice here is the high beam headlight (part H1) which costs $49.99 per 2-pack, as they didn't have them in a single package. The other picture is the low beam (part # H11B) costs $54.99 also in a 2-pack. Easy to install on a KIA Forte.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
