We had a very bad experience at the Noble Mechanic. We took our car there for an alignment. They said they'd also have to fix another problem they saw. They quoted a price of about $2,000. This was unexpected and we'd had no signs of the other problem. We took it to a dealer to confirm the diagnosis. They didn't see any reason for the other repair and their alignment was cheaper than the Noble Mechanic's price! Unbelievable. Do not go there.

I cannot say enough good things about The Noble Mechanic! My car died in the middle of an intersection, and I had no idea where to go. I saw The Noble Mechanic on a review site and it looked positive, so I had it towed to them. Jeremy went out of his way to help - I got an estimate for repairs the next day. I ended up finding a warranty I had, and he worked with the warranty company to give them all of the information on what all needed to be done. It was pretty much an engine replacement, so the labor and parts were extensive. The dealership ended up covering the work, so Jeremy arranged for them to tow the car out of his shop. Jeremy and his team were so kind and helpful that if the warranty wasn't paying for the repair I would have absolutely had them do it, just from the amount of care and concern they showed from the first phone call. I know Jeremy took at least two of my frantic calls at the end of the day when the shop was closing and stayed on the phone with me answering all of my questions and helping me feel very much at ease. Without question I will be returning to The Noble Mechanic for any and all maintenance or repair needs that I have in the future. Thank you so much for all of your help!

Very poor experience, do not go here under any circumstances. Called them to advise I was bringing in car for rattling noise and dim headlights. I was told $174 inspection fee would be charged. I dropped off car and came back at end of day for pickup, the rattling noise was not fixed and they told me the dim headlights had not even been investigated and it would be an additional $174 dollars just to investigate the headlight issue because it’s in a different area of the car. I stated that’s absurd to charge twice for investigation so the manager did state he’d look at it for no charge if I brought it back another day, but if I had not been assertive I would have been charged twice. I brought it back as discussed but they were too busy and couldn’t commit to a timeline. The first employee I spoke with didn’t seem to know what I was asking for even though he was a part of the first conversation about bringing the car back. When told he was there and included in the conversation he replied with “I probably wasn’t listening” and went to go get someone else to talk with me instead. They provided a refund for the investigation upon my request. However I did not get refunded for the oil change, which was $98 and pricier than most places. I never would have gotten it changed there had they not been working on other areas in the car, which they failed to do successfully. They offered free sunglasses however which was the only saving grace. Edit/reply to the rebuttal from the business: In the response from the business below it states “we could have done a better job of communicating to you”. I want to be clear for anyone reading this post and searching for a mechanic that there was zero communication about a second assessment fee. I called, I said I had two issues, an issue with headlight and noise. The mechanic said it would be an assessment fee of $174. Period. No mention of potential second fee. That’s is a bait and switch in the worst way. It’s like a 6 pack of soda adverting a price of $5, and then getting to the cashier who soys “just kidding that’s the cost per can, the price us $30”. Experiences like these are why some mechanics are not trusted. I have one I trust in my hometown, but will never ever go to this one again. “We could have done a better job communicating” is a polite way of spinning something that’s either misrepresenting costs or simply scamming customers.

We had Noble mechanic look at my grandson Subaru because it had a clutch or transmission issue. We wanted an estimate on the repair. They referred us to Miller towing and they were very responsive and quick to tow the Subaru into the shop. We did not choose noble mechanics to fix our grandson‘s Subaru, because the cost to fix it was rather high for us. With that said , I would like to add when diagnostic analysis testing is performed on your vehicle with a cost of $198, that should be in writing along with signature from the customer. With my brief conversation on the phone scheduling the Subaru for the estimate, I was driving at the time and was distracted when the representative inform me they will start with a diagnostic test around $198 cost. When we had the vehicle towed to another mechanic, for a second estimate they were not able to pick it up and tow it because I had the outstanding balance of the diagnostic fee. I was confused at our initial conversation on the phone while I was driving, and distracted, to realize what I was agreeing to. we really did not want a diagnostic test just an estimate on the repair. I believe that noble mechanic company is a reputable company and many customers are very happy.

Edit/ Update: The reply is misleading from the business..they know that they are ripping people off. That's why I'm reporting them to the states attorney general. If you see their responses to negative reviews they try so hard to gaslight that they are charging what they are worth, to make you feel bad for speaking up about being ripped off. They were trying to charge me for a service that wasn't being performed, because they were trying to milk the warranty company. Blatant consumer fraud. As soon as I mentioned reporting them they told me to get my truck and have it taken elsewhere, I paid to ensure I had proof of purchase and they knew this was a liability so they refunded me.... Unfortunately the fraud has already occurred. I called my local Chevy dealership and they immediately knew the code they gave to increase the payout. I told them they wanted 14hrs of additional work paid, but wouldn't explain what it was for. He knew exactly that they were trying to change me the hours for a cam shaft replacement not lifters. This is exactly what the warranty company said was happening. The shop was trying to manipulate the system and steal from customers. The guy on the phone who runs the place admitted he was charging me based off what a computer said he should quote, not the actual hours they were going to spend working on the vehicle. They wasted 3 days of me calling and emailing my warranty company and others, knowing they were the reason for the excess $4k they wanted. They charge $171.35 per hour. I work in surgery and save lives, I don't even make that much. It's not that they don't deserve the pay, it's the fact they were trying to scam the warranty company and in turn myself as the out of town customer desperate to get home. They wouldn't provide me with a actual quote either, the warranty company did, that's how I found the scam. They merely put the charges on their online system and said that's what I owe. They also seemingly work with local shops to quote them higher on parts and share the profits, because the local Chevy dealership was able to get the parts way closer to the book value. They try to gaslight everyone who leaves a negative review with this BS about "Quality of work and some warranty". Original: Took my truck to their Kokomo location. They sent a quote to my warranty company and they approved it, then told me I owed them $4000 nearly 5k total out of pocket, when the quote they sent to my warranty included everything already. They initially claimed it was a difference in parts? Then claimed the warranty company asked them to add on work, but the quote clearly already had all parts on it for both lifters, which is what they claimed was added later? They refuse to give me a breakdown and claimed I was claiming they weren't worth the pay. Trying to gaslight me basically. When I mentioned reporting this fraudulent practice they told me to get my car and take it elsewhere. The shop owner admitted they use a computer to calculate how many hours to charge people, not actually the hours it takes ....watch out
