- JMJosh McKeeOct 17, 20251.0I hate to leave a 1 stat review but I'm pretty upset at the moment. Went to the store and bought oil, filter, and fuel injection cleaner. They bagged it all up and I sat it in my back seat. When I got home I found that the cap from the injection cleaner popped or got knocked off by the oil and leaked all over my back seat. We'll the guy working was nice enough to replace the cleaner but my issue is that my seat is stained. I tried letting baking soda upsorb it and then took my carpet shampooer to it. The big spot is still there on my light gray seats.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
