- DADustin AbneyOct 19, 20252.0I stopped in Saturday October 18th at 7:30pm to exchange a headlight bulb that I had purchased an extended warranty for. The girl at the counter was very rude and unprofessional, insinuating that I was trying to use my extended warranty under false pretenses, accusing me of presenting a bulb that wasn't covered. This bulb that went out was only a few months old, and I had purchased the extended warranty. She did not know how to work the system, and the only redeeming factor in the situation was the young lady she had to call from the back to help her. The young lady that came from the back apologized to me and was able to run the transaction in the system. She's the reason there's 2 stars. The first girl I had to deal with was very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. Plenty of other auto part stores around to go to, moving forward.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
