Went to purchase two water bottles that were on sale 2 for $3 and when the register didn’t recognize the discount I mentioned that the posted sign said that price. Rudely the employee said she didn’t put the sign up. She then yelled across the store for another employee to go and verify the discount on the posted sign. She implied to the whole store that I was trying to cheat a discount. I don’t need a discount. But it’s the principle of the matter that this employee publicly shamed me. And when I informed the manager I’ll be filing a complaint, said employee shouted over to me the correct spelling of her name as if to taunt me for wanting to report the experience. This employee does not belong in customer service. I’ve talked to corporate today to file a complaint to ensure accountability. They will be getting back to me in a few days and I’ll update here if they actually do. This person is not representing her employer well and they need to know about that. I am not letting this go. I’ll follow up with corporate as many times as necessary to ensure accountability.
