COMPLETE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM.
I recently saw a vehicle on their website that looked great in the pictures, but the written description was of another vehicle. It was confusing, because in the description, the vehicle was clearly described as being Grey - When all the pictures were of a Burgundy / Maroon colour.
So I contacted them, and asked them to provide the correct information (the mileage, etc) for the pictures of the vehicle I saw, and liked - the Burgundy / Maroon model.
A girl answered my email, and confirmed the description didn't match the pictures. She then said she would correct the mistake. She never did. After waiting for DAYS, she got hold of me to tell me she had handed my inquiry off to someone else.
That person then contacted me, and also confirmed the pictures didn't match the description, but he wouldn't give me the information I needed! Instead, this new person, took the time to go out into the lot, and film a video for me of the vehicle, but he didn't actually answer ANY questions on it! All he did was to walk partly around the vehicle for about 30 seconds, and that was it. NOTHING was said about mileage, etc
I then emailed him - several times, asking for the correct mileage, etc, but he didn't answer.
I live in Dayton, Ohio, and cannot afford to drive all the way to Indiana without knowing what I would be buying! That would be crazy to do that. I NEEDED ANSWERS!!!
So, I got angry, and posted a bad review on Google. The next day I receive an email from yet another different employee (the third different one in 5-6 days). She then (after 5 days), finally gave me the information I'd requested. She explained in detail, that the vehicle description was accurate - only the colour was wrong.
She was so very kind, and polite, and in return, asked me to change, or remove my negative review of the dealership off of Google. So, I did remove my negative review.
However, just hours after removing my negative review, I got an update on the vehicle I'd been asking about for the previous 5-6 days - IT ALREADY SOLD!
Now, I understand that happens, but if they hadn't of made me wait 5 days to answer some simple questions in the first place, maybe I'd been the one who bought the vehicle - instead all I got was NOTHING. Nothing, but my time wasted, and disappointment.
This dealership is obviously filled with, and run by incompetent people. They had a vehicle, I wanted to buy it, but instead of answering my questions, and potentially selling ME their vehicle, they simply decided not to answer my questions for almost a week, and they sold it to someone else!!
I was never rude at all with any of the employees when I made my initial inquiries, so I cannot understand their attitude. They might say they're sorry, but ultimately they don't really care, because they all drive home in the vehicle's they wanted!
On the other hand, I get NOTHING.
When I received the update the vehicle had sold, I emailed the woman who'd only just provided me with that info I'd needed for 5 days, and I told her the vehicle had already sold. I told her just how angry I was. I also told her, and her dealership NOT to contact me, only to tell me how sorry they were, because that is just something that they say, but they don't mean it. They know it, and we all know it - they don't REALLY care.
However, they just couldn't help themselves. Just to add further insult to injury, and rub salt into my wounds, one of their salesman contacted me this morning, and defended his dealership, by saying it was my fault I didn't get the vehicle, because I should have just gone ahead, and driven out there anyway! Those were not his exact words, but that is EXACTLY what it was implying.
So, I should have driven from Ohio to Indiana without ANY idea of what I was going to look at? That person isn't even worth my time speaking to - which is why I didn't bother to answer. Their level of ignorance, and disrespect is beyond any words.
I sincerely hope there's a special place in hell, that's reserved for used car dealers, and their salesman.
