  First off stay away from any Gerber collision. I highly recommend going to Prime. I had anything vehicle that was in an accident and they got me an estimate in hours. GERBER took 3 weeks to get an estimate. If it wasn't for the fact I had a second car they could have put me in a really bad situation. They also are severely understaffed. I was appauled to hear how they have 1 estimater for each site in Lafayette and either estimater does estimates twice a week. When I heard that I thought that was ridiculous. Imagine your mechanic telling you they do estimates on repairs twice a week yet it takes them 3 weeks to get you any numbers and still no repair. They also took another 2 weeks to get me any information on me getting my tires off of my vehicle. Normally I'd leave the tires but since I paid over a grand for those tires and they were fairly new I wanted them. My insurance company approved me getting them. I asked Gerber how would I go about getting them off my vehicle they told me they would look into it and never followed up. I had to call them every time. When I finally got an answer they told me I could have them if I had a professional remove them. They said they have no technicians available to do so not would they allow me to remove them to have them brought somewhere that could replace them. Gerber has been absolutely no help they have made a difficult time worse. My insurance company has been quick to work with Gerber has slowed down this process immensely. Go to prime or any other collision repair just what ever you do stay away from Gerber unless you want a hard time and a headache.

  I was sent here by Geico to have my car repaired after I was in an accident. The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions. It was estimated to take about 2 weeks to get all the repair done, it actually ended up taking 3 weeking but they were very good about calling me and keeping me updated if changes were made. And there is also an Enterprise were I was able to get a rental while my parents case getting repaired. Overall I was very satisfied with how professional the staff was and how well done my repairs were after receiving my car back.

  If you take your car here make sure they install everything correctly. They messed up the install of my weather seal.
