  I brought my vehicle in and informed them my driver side tire continued to go flat. The vehicle was struck on that same side by someone else and they were to fix the damage caused and look at the tire. Needless to say they fixed everything but the tire and now I am fighting with them to get payment back for a tail light I fixed myself. They took the entire payment from insurance yet the estimate stated I fixed the tail light before it was brought into Gerber Collision. Was forced to get my tire fixed by someone else.

  TERRIBLE experience. Avoid this shop at all costs. This is a corporation that clearly cares more about turning profit than they do about their customers. I dropped my car off in July for a front bumper replacement and passenger side repaint. After weeks of waiting, I picked it up and it was immediately obvious that no panels had been blended. The car was clearly two different colors. Completely unacceptable work. I brought the car back so they could fix their mistake. When I picked it up again, they had left severe swirl marks in the driver side fender. I had to bring the car back for a third time. They admitted the issue was entirely their fault and promised it would be corrected. Instead of properly fixing the damage, they fully repainted the driver side fender because they had damaged it beyond a simple repair. They did not blend into the driver side door, leaving the car mismatched in color once again. The driver side fender was never supposed to be repainted in the first place. This only happened because of their own mistakes. When I confronted them, they tried to argue that they were not responsible for blending the door to match. I escalated the issue to the regional manager, who was just as incompetent and unwilling to take responsibility. I had to involve my insurance company again, and insurance determined that Gerber was fully responsible for blending the fender and door since the repaint was caused by their errors. On top of the paint issues, they left residue all down the side of my car. They attempted to remove it three separate times and failed. Because of this, I had to bring my car back multiple additional times. I was repeatedly promised rental cars would be ready at the shop. Both times I dropped my car off, there were no rental cars available and I was forced to find my own transportation to Enterprise, wasting hours of my time. Because they could not fix the residue, they had to send my car to another shop to finally get it repaired correctly. I have all communication records and was patient throughout this entire process. After the seventh visit to this shop, I became firm and refused to accept any more excuses. At that point, the general manager, Marty, called me belligerent and refused to take responsibility for the damage his shop caused. This business causes more damage than it fixes and takes zero accountability unless insurance or legal pressure is involved and forces them to act. If you care about your vehicle, stay far away from this place. Disgusting behavior from everyone involved at Gerber.

  Performed a bait & switch on a part I had approved, and expected me to accept it! Good customer service as long as you blindly accept everything they throw at you! If I could give it a negative approval, I would. Extremely poor customer service. You would be best off taking a repair somewhere else.
