I went to get an oil change back in August here and they had me waiting for a long time and kept coming back telling me they had basically broke the oil pan plug and were trying to do something to it to hold it in… after a long time they said they couldn’t get to stay long won’t whatever method they were trying to use and then tried to tell me to take it to a shop immediately… they were going to try to push it off on me if they could’ve… long Tory short.. after filing a claim.. they sent me to a shop to get a “new” oil pan put on.. the next day after that… I noticed oil leaking in my driveway.. it was not leaking before they broke my oil pan plug.. so I called the shop they sent me too and they told me to bring it back.. they told me the oil pan was one Valvoline sent over to them and it had a hairline split in it.. they sent a used one over obviously trying to cut corners but didn’t tell me.. so they let them order a part is what I was told and I came back to get it fixed about a week later.. my vehicle is still leaking now and hasn’t been the same since I took it here.. I called them to let them know.. I had to argue and was getting talked to like I shouldn’t be mad and like I didn’t something to them… my car didn’t have any leaks or anything before I took it to this Thompson Rd store… I took it to another one about 2 months before and there was no issues.. I would suggest you all be very careful and tread lightly before taking your car to these places.. that’s hop told me they spend astronomical amounts of cash with them fixing peoples cars after breaking something.. and they tried to replace my oil pan with an inferior old one and then told me they don’t do that after the shop told me they did it.. BEWARE AT ALL COSTS.. take your car to a dealership or real mechanic shop because anyone can work at these places .. and if they destroy your car they won’t take full accountability for it..I’m so mad right now about my car.. there was nothing wrong with it at all before I took it to this store!!!!

I didn’t realize that I had 2 low tires and she made sure that I got taken care of. I normally don't go to Valvoline for my oil changes but her being so kind and helpful, I have found a new spot. Thank you to the store manager for being so helpful and kind.

- MDMelissa DavenportOct 27, 20255.0Well I first stopped by the location on Southport road but they didn't have my filter, I then went to take 5 next door and they pulled me in and let me sit there while they let someone else pull in and immediately started on them, I was going to be running late for work so I decided to go by the Thompson road location and was extremely pleased because they immediately let me pull in, had my filter and I was done in 10 minutes.
