  Good morning everyone. I rarely write negative reviews but this one is a doozy. I was taking my mom out for her birthday and I purchased a pass ahead of time for the parking lot. I set the time for 5:30 p.m. and I received the QR code email. I did not open the pass because I know sometimes when you open the pass it is invalid after. When I arrived to the parking garage I opened the QR code and it said that I had to leave by 5:55 p.m. . It was 6:15. I pushed the the help button and explained the situation. The lady kindly asked me to take a ticket and when I go to leave to scan the QR code again. I did so, I enjoy the show, I came back to leave. This was at 903 p.m. I pulled to the exit and the QR code wasn't working. I entered the ticket that I had and it was charging me 17 extra dollars so I canceled it. I tried to call the help button again with no success. I then called the number listed for the garage and a gentleman answered with a simple hello and I asked if this was the garage and he said yes. He told me to pull over to the other lane that had the barrel and to push that help button. That one was not working either. I tried to call him back and I was immediately shady buttoned. Maybe he's trying to call somebody and our calls got intersected. I waited a few moments and I called back. Still no answer. I tried from another number still no answer. I believe this guy's name was Chris Klein. I drove over to the entrance and I was going to push that button and just go out but it did not work. We push the help button and she explained that she could not help somebody on foot and to go back to the exit and push the button again. The sounded like the same lady that had helped me when I came in. I go back over to the exit where it is still not working. I send a very rude text message to the number as now it is 9:00 27 p.m. and we cannot get out of the garage with an hour and half drive back home. Within a few seconds of my well-worded text message they did finally open the garage arm in the broken down lane. This is extremely unprofessional of the gentleman answered the call. His number was listed as the main contact. The facilities himself seem very clean and close to where we were going. We will not be using this again. His customer service was extremely unprofessional!

  Living here feels like so much more than just renting an apartment — it truly feels like being part of a big family. The amenities are fantastic, and the staff goes above and beyond to stay connected with the community. They’re always ready to lend a hand or offer support in any way they can. There’s always something fun going on, whether it’s a party on-site, tickets to local events, or even group efforts like cleaning up Mass Ave. I’ve lived in several places, and Penrose has been by far the best experience. Huge kudos to the entire team! Also, the maintenance crew is amazing — they respond quickly to work orders and are always friendly and professional.
