The agent was very in tune with my needs and just very kind in general. Fairly comfortable car. Great sound system. I'd do it again if I rent a car in the future

Purchased vehicle from Expedia. It was discounted like $400 compared to normal rates from Enterprise. I’d recommend Expedia. They offered insurance that covered the vehicle for less than Enterprise. At first experience was going well. I informed the service advisor that I purchased insurance already. He was still pushy and tried using techniques to make us purchase their insurance. I left and with the vehicle and the service advisor watched me pull out. He calls me while I’m driving to inform me they won’t accept 3rd party insurance and I needed commercial insurance. I’m thinking WTH. They let me drive off not covered?! Then I call Expedia and their customer service was amazing. They called Enterprise to confirm they won’t let them cover with their insurance. Expedia reimbursed me immediately. I called my insurance to see if it covers the rental and it does. I asked my insurance about commercial insurance. They informed me that’s insurance for a business which I don’t have and don’t need. Liberty mutual informed me they will cover ANY rental I drive and that Enterprise was lying to get me to buy their insurance for $215 for one week of driving. It’s a SCAM. I could also tell there was some hard feelings with my service advisor when I didn’t buy their insurance. I get it buddy, you don’t get the commission but don’t let that change the interaction to unfriendly. They tried to use a nasty sales tactic to get me to spend extra money by lying about needing commercial insurance. My insurance company is an insurance company and said it’s covered. Isn’t that what Enterprise wants? No they want you to spend more money any way possible, even by lying. Do better Enterprise.

Justin was the manager who took care of me theu my whole rental process. He was so great. He was technically off the clock but instead stick around to get me situated and on my way. I truly appreciated how he made sure I was able to get going.
He will do so well in his new role with enterprise. They are lucky to have him.

My car was blocked in when I returned after hours last night. So I wasn’t able to return my car and had to come back to return it today which was a huge inconvenience.
I tried texting the staff, and they never responded to my texts even though one was sent hours ago.
When I arrived they were anything but apologetic and said that it could have even been been one of their own staff that blocked my car in. I found that unbelievable. Maybe this is something they do regularly.
What is most frustrating is that Blake didn’t express concern or apologies. He just made excuses for his team. And then, when I asked him why they didn’t answer my text messages, he made more excuses. Customer service seems to have been lost. I would recommend providing training to your team from the top down about what customer service looks like and how you respond when you have provided a bad experience to the customer.
