I placed an online order and went to pick it up in store. When I arrived, no one greeted me or acknowledged me at the counter. One of the items in my order wasn’t in stock, which I completely understand — inventory issues happen. However, when I asked the employee at the desk when I could expect my refund, he responded with an attitude and said, “I don’t know how that stuff works.” That response was frustrating and unprofessional. If someone isn’t sure about a process, the right thing to do is ask a coworker or manager — not dismiss the customer. Overall, the customer service here was poor and made what should’ve been a simple pickup a negative experience. I hope management works on better customer service training at this location.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
