  Enterprise in Hammond is the best. The people working that office are friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. I always get a good, reliable vehicle there.

  Customer who rented the car smoked a lot of marijuana. The enterprise employee said they tried to spray it down as much they could and charged the last renters a cleaning fee. They should have offered me a different car or a discount but I’m guessing every car in that city probably smells like weed so a discount should have at least been offered. The car stunk so bad it gave me and my wife headaches every time we got into the car to go places. The first day we had to drive with the windows down, heater full blast while it was cold outside just to get some of the smell out. The next day we bought air freshers to see if that would help but it didn’t. I understand that enterprise has no control of what people do with the car when they drive off the lot but I think that if a car is returned and smells so bad of cigarette, cigar or marijuana smoke the car should be out of commission until the smell subsides.

  I frequently rent vehicles from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Hammond, Indiana, and the entire experience is always outstanding from start to finish. The staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the right vehicle for my needs. A huge shoutout to Lorenzo, who always goes above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress-free. He was extremely helpful, patient, and made sure I understood all the details before driving off. It’s rare to find someone who provides that level of customer service these days. The management team also deserves recognition — they clearly run a tight ship and keep the office organized and efficient. The location was clean, the cars were in great condition, and the pickup and return process was quick and easy. I left feeling like a valued customer and will definitely be returning for my next rental. If you’re in the Hammond area and need a car, I highly recommend stopping by this Enterprise location — ask for Lorenzo, and you’ll be in great hands!

  I rented a 2024 Nissan Rouge to attend my Fraternal Chapters Anniversary Banquet. The AWD malfunctioned an hour and a half into the drive. After which the ride share cancelled and wasn't able to take me to my destination. Got this message an hour into the breakdown. Then the tow truck gave me an ETA of 75 minutes, by this time the banquet is starting. Instead of waiting an hour plus for the tow, hour for it to take me to my destination missing my check in time as well as missing the banquet, I had to drive it in it's condition. This process took 45 minutes to go 35 miles. Enterprise defeated the entire purpose of it's services.
