- MTMark ThompsonDec 13, 20255.0Went in, had them look up rear bump stops for the rear end, a simple part, ordered it from GM. Part came in and got installed. Truck is fixed. After taking it to Chevy and GMC on the Sside US 31S in Indy. Neither knew what was wrong and threw their hands up. Their answer was that, “ that’s how they ride”, I said no way. The previous owner had installed heavy duty bump stops that virtually limited the shocks with about 2 inches of travel so the rear end was hitting the bump stops all the time. I had the OEM bump stops reinstalled. GMC Denali truck rides like a dream 2021, 22,000 miles. How can you take a vehicle to either dealer for service and repairs when they didn’t know about a simple bump stop. That’s scary!!!
