Maybe someone in the shop can find the dust caps on my hubs from when they did maintenance on my camper. Picked up yesterday after they had it for a month doing all kinds of tests on AC heard several different stories over the weeks it was there. They eventually said nothing wrong with it pick it up. It had 1 year maintenance as well. Get home no dust covers on hubs. Great another trip back up there!

Bad experience with the overall staff. We were to buy a camper, went there a couple times during a weekend and I guess they didn't think my wife and I were serious because they didn't want to work with numbers for us. We had agreed on one but as we left the dealership, we thought that $1400 monthly payment was too much, and that was with our trade. So we decided just to buy another one and keep our camper. Again, they didn't want to do paperwork unless we committed in buying the camper without us seeing it. Well, we did buy another camper at Forest River Camping World in Piqua, Ohio and the staff, especially our salesman, Nicholas was awesome. We will do business with them in the future.
What can I say........

Really? In good shape.. we get here, and my wife notices. The first thing is, the back window has been sealed. And not sealed very well at all. And then you see the delamination along the sides, from where the skin has pulled away from the plywood. And then the power hookup to the right of the door going into the main camping area. It is pulled away and you can see into the wall that would be right next to the delamination. And the guy tells me well, that's just a calking issue. So then when I pushed the skin up against the plywood to show him that it was delaminated. Oh by the way, was rusty all over the place too. So many issues around the whole thing, it's been repaired. So many times he said, well, that's because of the price point, which is $15,999. Camping World. You should be ashamed of yourselves. We will never purchase something fromthislocation. And we have made purchases from camping World. in the past. That 7 hour drive was definitely not worth it.
I wish I could say this was a wonderful experience, but I cannot. I had done a lot of research on the camper we were wanting to buy. There were only 6 on RV Trader, 2 being used, 4 being brand new ones. The one in Greenwood In, one in Utah, Arizona and California. Since we live 4 hours from Greenwood IN we started there.
We got a newer sales guy that didn’t know anything about campers, which is fine, this is our 3rd camper.
On March 13 we came in and signed all the paperwork to purchase our 2025 Heartland Cyclone 3714. Our camper was not ready for pick up that day because the service department was supposed to be fixing a slide and recaulking some things on the roof. So on Monday March 23 my husband and son had to take off a day of work (night shift) to come pick up the camper. He travels for work and lives in our camper while on the road. They were supposed to do the walk through at 1 and then be on their way. They didn’t get to walk through the camper until 1:45 and didn’t get on the road until 4:30. Once arriving back to our campground (2 hours away) he started hooking up everything.
First the water, he hooked it up and turned it on. The water heater was busted. We have called every day to try and get this resolved and still nothing. Everyday they say someone is supposed to call us back and no one ever does.
Second, the fridge. It doesn’t get cold. This is new to us being a 12v fridge. I feel like that should have been explained a lot more in the walk through. (This is our 3rd camper) We lost $100 in food. WE LIVE IN OUR CAMPER WHILE WORKING ON THE ROAD.
Third, the slide. The bed slide did not work. They finally got it working, so we shall see when we get ready to leave if we have more trouble or not.
Fourth, the beds in the garage. They are locked together and will not come down separately. One side will, but the other side will not. We called Lippert and it’s a mechanical issue.
Fifth, the caulking on the roof. The service department had our camper for 2 weeks to repair these problems. Nothing that we requested was done. Not sure if that was on the sales guy or the service department but either way it is not done.
Sixth: The ladder for the loft is gone (was in there on first visit to look at camper) and no glass in the microwave. Supposedly this has been ordered but don’t know if they are expecting us to drive to pick these up when they arrive or shipping to our home.
We just want our brand new camper in working order.
Note: Since the original writing of this (March 28) We still don’t have anything fixed. Today, (April 13) we are still waiting on a new water heater along with the mobile rv tech to come to our camper. The worst part is, we need to move our camper because the job my husband is on is coming to an end.
I will say we had a second sales guy that came in and is trying to get things done (Chris has been amazing) the service department is holding us up on everything! I had a lot of hesitation before signing the papers for this camper.
Living on the road has a lot of challenges, but this was all preventable. We love our new camper, just not the service of Camping World in Greenwood Indiana.
Update: April 25, 2026
Still no part, still not able to use our camper water sources, refrigerator or the beds in the garage. We have called multiple times to try and get updates with no call backs.
WARNING!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HERE AT CAMPING WORLD. DO NOT PAY THE EXTRA $2300 for the Let’s go camping package!!!!!! It’s fraudulent!!!!!!
I spoke with a woman with the potential interest in a camper. She repeated a few different times that my credit wouldn't be checked it was just a soft hit for a pre-approval. She transferred me to a man who stated that my credit was in fact checked. I then called and left a voicemail for the manager 2 different days spread apart where there in fact could have plenty of time to return my call. I am still waiting over a month later to receive this call. I'm pretty sure no one from this company are going to make any attempt to return my call. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. 0 stars.
