In a previous visit, they over-tightened the oil pan drain plug and stripped it. On the next visit, that was discovered, but in doing so, metal broke off into the pan. Without explaining anything to me, the manager takes off on his motorcycle and returns shortly with a tool. I sat there another 20 min until I finally got one of them to explain what happened, as they were still trying to fish out whatever broke off, and the explanation was extremely vague on purpose. Then this last visit, different staff asked who did the last change, with a really snarky tone, because the temporary plug was leaking and barely holding on. When I explained it was them, what happened, the fact that nobody mentioned that a temporary plug was used, etc. the tone changed quickly. A newer manager gave a brief apology, then spent 10 min talking about how terrible the previous managers were and his recent promotion. No real apology, no attempts to make it right (install an oversized drain plug or replace the pan), no discount.
