  Cracked weld on the exhaust which they didn't mention. Wanting to replace the catalytic converter $3700.00 had other issues tpms light they offered no correction except more diagnostics. They did change the oil and filter. Didn't mention that the positive battery post was corroded. Any other shop would have cleaned it. Didn't address the vibration issue which is more then likely a control arm bushing that is a recall .

  My husband and I were in the market for a new vehicle. We visited Romain Subaru of Evansville just to look around & was greeted almost immediately by Seth. He was friendly, laid back, & very easy to work with. He explained several features of the subarus while also answering our questions about other brands they had available. Our test drives went great but we wanted to think about it. Seth didn't pressure us to stay but did stay in contact with us over the next few days. We were able to get a good deal thanks to Seth & the finance staff and are excited about our new crosstrek.

  I was greeted by name when I walked in the door. All I had to do was hand my key fob to the woman at the counter. She told me I could wait in the waiting area and I enjoyed a cup of coffee. My car service was finished before I finished looking at the magazine there. I’ve waited at other dealers waiting area and it took so long of a wait. This service was excellent and my car looked great with a car wash and wax. My husband was impressed when he looked over the paperwork pertaining to the car service checks. We are very pleased.

  Just be forewarned when dealing with this place. Despite changing the battery and generator in my Outback myself, the battery kept draining and eventually would not start. Had it towed to their dealership, was told that it just needed a new battery. Having explained that I’d already done that, I was told the alternator works fine and they had checked for anything draining the system - they could find nothing. They insisted everything was fine. I drove it home and 4 days later it would not start. When I called, I was told “you can’t let a car sit for more than a couple of days, as all cars will have trouble starting”. Again, they said ‘we don’t tow vehicles’, so I had to pay to have it towed in - again. Suddenly, they now find it needs a new alternator, and oops, there is a drain on the system, and it needs $800 worth of work for that too - ‘we think that ought to do it’. $2000 worth of repairs. Odd that none of this was discovered on my first run through their service department. Two part warning - if you have a 2016 Outback or are thinking of owning one, get rid of it ASAP. After a short browse on the internet, you’ll discover that electrical issues are quite common for this type and year. Second this ‘service department’ is dysfunctional at best, with poor communication and no concept of what service means. They are more interested in sucking your wallet dry. Odd that this dealership had no clue about Outback electrical issues, or maybe they felt it was better for their own interest that it be kept a secret. You wonder what else they might know that they prefer to keep from their clientele.
