- KLKyle Laslie4 days ago1.0Called and told them my brakes went out coming home from work. Either need new brakes and/a new brake line. They said thats fine we can look that over for free for ya. Had my car towed there(at personal expense expecting results) and they refused to do the work unless I paid over 4k for other repairs needed. Then when i go to pay the surprise "$99 inspection fee in every car" that i had never heard of they couldnt even produce my car because the guy at the desk had no information on it yet...Shake down artists at the finest.

I came in for a nail in my tire and was told it was “unrepairable,” then was quoted for multiple new tires and nearly $2,000 in additional unrelated repairs. I took the car to Discount Tire afterward, where they repaired the tire with the nail and replaced my front tires for a fraction of the cost. Based on my experience, I felt pressured into unnecessary services and would recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work here.

Ever since the buy out all neighborhood charm and all basic customer service has gone away. My elderly mom went in there for help with the nail and tire. She had purchased tires there along with the Additional warranty. They told her Warranties changed And they would no longer honor them as they did before. This was without even reviewing the paperwork. The tires in fact at 20,000 miles left. They told her to kick rocks or purchase an entire new set. When she pushed back, they offered her directions to Pep Boys. Regardless of warranties or paperwork, When a little old lady asks you for help, you figure it out. That’s the Evansville Way. Not to dog every corporate tire shop coming to town. Discount tire took care of her with a smile.
