Like so sorry so I didn't know exactly what you were talking about on my car. You don't have to smile and chuckle. I went in there to buy a battery since they have free installation and take advantage of that service. I asked the lady upfront if they had someone in that could help put my new battery in and she was like "uhhhh....." "yeah that's OK I'll go somewhere else. No worries." Then she was like "oh we can probably help you out." what? either you're lazy or you don't know what you're supposed to know how to do. It's a yes or no. you're not going to wing throwing a battery into my car. I'm trying to get to work. It's a yes or no either you know what you're doing or you don't. smh.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
