- MBMary BeaboutFeb 23, 20265.0Having failed the emissions test I was desperate to get my car fixed. The first place I went to wanted $400 just to run a diagnostic. I found another car repair shop that did the diagnostic for $184. I had them fix minor repairs but passed on the $4,000 job they recommended. I knew I needed to get a second opinion because my car was running fine. I found DWR shop on the list of certified mechanics given to me at the emissions site. They only charged me $99 for the diagnostic. They pinpointed the problem in about an hour. A previous repair was incorrectly done which set off a false code. I was more than happy to pay them only $197 to have it corrected. My license plates expired the next day. So I was advised to get an extension and bring it back to them before going to emissions to check. It needed to be driven to reset the sensors. I appreciate him taking the time to explain this process. DWR was professional, affordable, and honest! I highly recommend them.
