Worst customer service ever! Showed up at 9:50 am for my 10 am scheduled appointment for an oil change w/tire rotation. He said he couldn't get my car started for at least 30 mins for he took a walk in in front of me and he's waiting for a worker to arrive. I said but I had the appointment? He said that's just what they do. He then refused to accept my coupon for he said it needed to be printed. I said some choice words then left without getting the service. I enclosed a pic of the coupon which shows it can be texted to my phone. I will never go to a Tire Barn again!

We had an emergency hours from home on a Sunday. Sam’s Club couldn’t fit us in and this was the only place that was open. As soon as we pulled into the lot, the guy there had an attitude with us. He was unbelievably rude, not welcoming at all. He gave us one price for a tire instead of giving us options. If there was any other place open, I would have taken my business and hard earned money somewhere else. I would have even paid more just to be treated kinder in the midst of an already rough day.

My husband made an appointment for four new tires (which the website said came with an alignment) at Tire Barn in Columbus for the morning of 4/17/26. I arrived at 8:00 a.m. to drop off the vehicle. There were two employees talking to one another at the front desk and no other customers waiting. No one greeted me when I came in. I initiated the conversation stating I had an appointment that morning. One of the employees walked away. The other pulled the information up on his computer and said with a grunt, "Well, its just now 8:00". They opened at 7:30. He seemed incredibly unhappy that I was there. He then told me they didn't do alignments and he didn't even have an alignment machine (see photo of the outside of the building which says "ALIGNMENT" in big red letters). He seemed very annoyed. I told him we had made an appointment for an alignment and to have four new tires put on our vehicle. He told me the online system was confusing and he hated it. He stated it would have just been best for me to come in person. I pulled up a screenshot from the website that talked about the promotion running this month where customers would get a free alignment with the purchase of the new tires we were buying. He asked if I was getting the tires from ebay and having them put on. I was very confused and stated that I had been planning on purchasing the tires new from their store, as the appointment my husband made online stated. I called my husband who also spoke to the employee and restated that the appointment had been made online (which the employee could see) along with the reason for the appointment. The employee unhappily left the front desk to go look at my vehicle. While he was doing that, my husband and I made the decision to take our business to a different store. When the employee came back in, I politely told him that. He shrugged and said, "It's whatever". I don't think I've ever written a Google review in my life but as a business leader who loves the Columbus community, I would absolutely want to know if a member of my team treated a customer in this manner. I recognize that this is not reflective of every employee at Tire Barn but it was bad enough that I will never be back, and I'm taking the time to write this review. What a reminder for all of us that we as individual employees are each responsible for representing our company well. If a customer has a wonderful experience with us, that's their perception of the entire organization. Unfortunately, as in this case, the reverse is true as well. The story has a happy ending! I left and went to Discount Tire. Right from the start, the vibe was totally different! I was greeted as I came in, they apologized for the wait (even though I was seen quickly), two employees shook my hand, I was told it was no problem that I didn't have an appointment, and I was asked if it was ok for us to go out and take a look at the vehicle together. I was even offered a complimentary bottle of water of cup of coffee. What a difference! I ended up telling the two employees I interacted with at Discount Tire about my experience at Tire Barn. They were stunned and THEY both apologized that I had had that kind of an experience. One of the employees told me that a female customer had been in earlier that week and shared she had a similar experience at Tire Barn. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Discount Tire got me the tires I needed plus an alignment all within the span of an hour. I felt taken care of and appreciated. I ended up spending more at Discount Tire than I would have at Tire Barn but was glad to do so because of the excellent product and care I received. We will now be sure to get all of our vehicles taken care of at Discount Tire.

Very quick and professional. Helped me know when the tires were made and what caused the tire to go flat. Very helpful.

Had a very tough day on a Sunday, which culminated in a flat tire, brought my car in at 4:18, the store closed at 5. The young man wasn’t sure they could help at that late time as they were still working on two other cars, but seeing my distress, he went ahead and took me as a customer. The other young man that worked on my car and the first young man had to stay late. They were kind and considerate….I was so appreciative of them.
