  During our travels, the EVgo Charging Station on Thatcher Lane in Carmel proved to be a reliable pit stop for our electric vehicle. Both on our initial visit and on the return trip, we were pleasantly surprised by the absence of any wait time, allowing us to charge our vehicle efficiently using the EVGo RFID card. The seamless charging process at this station was a highlight, contributing to a stress-free travel experience. Adjacent to the charging area, we discovered a shopping center that was conveniently situated for us to run errands and pick up some travel essentials while our vehicle powered up. However, it’s worth noting that there is no designated walkway linking the charging station parking lot to the shopping center. As we made our way to the shops, paying attention to the traffic was necessary. Despite this minor inconvenience, the station's location was advantageous, enabling us to make the most of our charging time. The combination of the efficient EVgo station and the proximity to shopping facilities made for a practical charging experience, aligning perfectly with the needs of an EV traveler looking to multitask during a charging session.

  Just tried charging on the super charger. Neither worked. The payment device would not recognize our EV go card and wouldn’t process a credit card. The slower charger next to it works
