  Gerber repaired my hail damage they broke my passenger visor by stripping the screw. They never once told me about this mistake and proceeded to glue it on. I found this out by it being mid summer and the heat melted the glue. I took my car back in and they never apologized or took accountability. They told me they would keep the part(they still have it) and order a new one to replace it. They said this would be 3-7 business days for the part to come in. It has been over two weeks now they still have my broken piece that they hid with glue and haven't reached out about fixing this. They're sneaky and do not care about responsibility or customer service.

  Edit: Added one star because car was finally cleaned. Only added one because TWO employees informed me that the original state of the vehicle I picked up was a "courtesy." Do better next time. Get better reviews. Good things: the office staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. I received calls regarding the progress made on my vehicle as well as an accurate estimate on glass and body repairs. Bad things: Left my speedometer on KM/H instead of MPH, which required a return trip to the shop to change back. Repair team left scuff marks in several places on my brand new cream leather interior. Calling to get this resolved was a bad experience. The staff begs and begs for a perfect review but wasn't willing to properly clean the interior of my new car after repairs were made. I expect my car to be returned with the interior as pristine as it was when I dropped the car off. Supposedly they are going to let me get the vehicle detailed but it will require another trip back to Anderson. They really should reimburse me for gas on all these trips I have to make because of their shoddy cleanup job.

  When I originally took the car up to them on 06/18/2020 I was told the dentless hail damage repair took 3 days. The following Tuesday we called as we had not had a status update, was told our adjustor wasnt there and to call back. We called back the next day, was told they found additional hail dents and they had sent the estimate to our insurance company. The following Monday we called Gerber again, and was told they hadn't heard anything from the insurance. Sometimes it helped to get the ball rolling if the customer calls insurances company. So we did. Geico had never received the estimate. So while on the phone Geico called and asked for the estimate. On July 1st we received a phone call from our insurance company saying they were going out to Gerber in the next day or 2 to look at the car. On Monday July 6th we call Gerber again and ask for an update they tell us no one has been out. Called our adjustor at Geico and he had all the pictures and information he needed to process the claim. The next day we finally received a call from Geico stating it was a total loss and we needed to go.by Gerber and sign release papers and clean out our vehicle. Our lein holder and insurance company had already reached out to them and everything was ready!!! We were in and out very quickly. Both times we were on location the staff we encountered was extremely nice and polite. Just upset by the lack of communication and the he said she said game with our insurance company.
