Despite reserving a 15-passenger van, we were given a 12-passenger vehicle, leaving us scrambling at the last minute to find additional transportation for minors in our care. This alone was a major failure. To make matters worse, another van we rented had tire pressure under 30 PSI at pickup. After airing it up ourselves and arriving at our destination, we returned later that night — in freezing temperatures — to find the tire completely flat. At 1:00 a.m., with 50 teenagers needing to get home, I called Enterprise for help. The representative was rude, impatient, and dismissive. While I was desperately trying to provide information in the middle of chaos, I begged her not to hang up on me — and she did anyway. I was left to change a tire myself at 1 a.m. in below-freezing temperatures while dozens of teenagers waited. This experience was unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. When a company is trusted with transporting minors, safety, preparedness, and basic human decency should be the bare minimum. Enterprise failed on all fronts.
