  I had your team replace my drive axles. After I drove it, I noticed a leak and it appeared to be coming from the axle near the gear box. I brought it in to have it check. Your team told me it was not at the axle but in my steering. I did not proceed with the work. I paid them for checking their work and picked the car up after hours. While driving home my transmission light came on and I am now having trouble with my transmission. Your technicians lied to me. You all should be ashamed.

  I had a very concerning experience with Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Waterloo, IL. In May 2024, they performed steering and suspension work on my vehicle, which they later admitted was done incorrectly because the wrong parts were installed. Even after returning to have it “corrected,” the issue was never properly fixed. Within a few thousand miles, my vehicle developed severe inner tire wear, clearly indicating improper alignment or suspension work. When I returned, Dobbs denied responsibility and told me to replace the tires at my expense. The most troubling part came when I contacted my extended warranty company and learned Dobbs had submitted warranty claim paperwork containing my signature — which I never signed or authorized. I was never informed that a claim was filed in my name. This experience has resulted in financial loss, safety concerns, and ongoing disputes with both the shop and my warranty provider. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend exercising caution before trusting this location with repairs or warranty claims.
