I get the value to a business of recurring predicable revenue, but come on, stop forcing it on people. They don't even let you select the wash yourself anymore if you want a single wash - you are forced to interact with staff that keys it in for you while pitching the membership.
- JPJohn PJan 6, 20263.0This is one of the better car washes around and I have always been pleased with how the car comes out after a wash. However, I have a few gripes recently. Jet Brite recently put up signs above the lanes stating who can go in the lane. There are two member lanes and one cash/credit line. I find this to be quite annoying that you are being forced to purchase membership. I could see one member lane and two cash/credit lanes. The membership pricing is not too bad if you use the wash more than twice a month, but I think what they hope for is that individuals forget to cancel and just keep getting charged. I did membership once before and it was difficult to cancellation process. Observing however, there were still plenty of people using the member lanes that were paying with cash and credit. Lastly, prices have risen quite dramatically. All of the car washes are about the same, but sad to see prices have jumped so high for the same product.
