I had a 4:30 PM oil change appointment with my mechanic right down the street and was running about 10–15 minutes late. When I called my mechanic, they told me I had to be there within 10 minutes or I’d have to reschedule. I still needed to pick up my oil and filter, and I knew walking into the store, finding what I needed, and asking for help would eat up those precious few minutes I didn’t have. I called Advance and Aaron answered. I told him exactly what I needed the specific premium synthetic 5W-40 oil brand and the right filter for my car and asked if he could have it ready for me at the front so I could be in and out quickly. He didn’t hesitate for a second and said “Absolutely, no problem” and when I arrived just minutes later, everything was ready to go exactly as promised. Thanks to Aaron, I made it to my appointment right on time, and everything went smoothly. This kind of service is rare these days, and I really appreciated how helpful, understanding, and efficient Aaron was. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location because of him. - GWGilbert WalkerJul 6, 20251.0Today, 7/6/2025, I ordered a spark plug online. At 8:45 a.m., I received the email stating my order was ready for pick-up. I got to the store at 8:56am but the store doesn't open until 9:00am. I waited the 4 minutes, and the clerk opened the door at 9:00am. and greeted me not with a hello but with "we open at 9" in a very a butt hurt/someone peed in his cereal type of way and then repeated his statement. As petty as it may sound, I refuse to shop here now only because this guy needed a diaper change and was mad at me about it. You don't even have to say hello, In fact, I prefer that, but you also don't have to act like a pantywaste and be rude.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
