- RRRaymond RDec 24, 20255.0Today is Christmas Eve, and because Ford could not bring my car back to the way it was supposed to be I figured I'd stop at advanced Auto parts! They really know what they're doing there! I have a 23 Ford escape hybrid and the question was why my battery would only last about a year that was put in by Ford warranty two times, the crew there pulled three batteries out of stock and showed me the difference! Ford was putting a stock acid battery in that actually did not belong in that vehicle it needed a hybrid starting battery! Why Ford couldn't figure this out is beyond me! Or maybe they just didn't care, not only did Ford want to put another battery in but they wanted to charge me when the battery was only less than a year old! Well this knowledgeable crew at this location knew exactly the battery that had to go in the vehicle! And not only did they sell me the battery they put it in my vehicle for me! You never could go wrong going to this advanced Auto parts store in Villa Park! I want again thank you for your help, because if it wasn't for your knowledge I was afraid to travel with a vehicle that had a defective battery! Again thank you very much!
