Justalyn and Katie really helped me out today. They tested my battery and I ended up buying a new one that they installed. I even learned some things from them! No hassles, no pressure, just good honest service. Thank you

Very pleasant experience. The 2 ladies that were there this morning I am bad with names so I don’t remember their names were very helpful when I came in distressed due to my car dying in the parking lot and after opening the hood for a battery check and noticed something leaking in the car. They were very kind and patient with me as I gathered my thoughts and called for help to get it towed. They referred me to a shop near by and even called them to let them know I was coming. They made a stressful situation a little less stressful and they were so sweet and kind while I waited for the tow truck. True blessings this morning. Thank you again for your generosity and kindness

Please save yourself the frustration and avoid this store. Here’s what happened to me as an African American customer: I walked into the store, went to the counter, and politely said, “Hi, my engine light is on, can you hook it up to the computer and tell me the codes?” The clerk, an elderly white man with gray hair, immediately said, “No, we can’t do that anymore. But you can do it yourself, I’ll tell you how.” I was stunned. The young woman working at the other register even paused, looked at him, and said “Huh?” in disbelief before going back to her task. I declined his suggestion and told him I would take my car somewhere else. I then asked the young woman if she had ever heard that policy before. She said, “No—who told you that?” She asked him multiple times, but he suddenly “couldn’t remember” who told him such a thing. When I asked her if I was the first customer to ever be told that, she admitted yes—and then immediately offered to run the codes for me herself. As we walked out, she apologized, and after completing the service, she apologized again. Once I got home, I thought about it and decided to call the store. To my disappointment, the same elderly white man answered. I asked for the manager. When the manager got on the phone, I repeated the same question I had asked in person. He replied, “Of course we can run the codes, just bring your car up here.” I then told him what had happened to me just an hour earlier. He sounded completely caught off guard. After a long pause, all he said was, “Your complaint will be taken.” When I asked how I would know, he finally asked for my name and number so someone higher up could call me back. This left me hurt, disrespected, and singled out. I couldn’t help but feel that the elderly white clerk treated me differently because I am African American. No other explanation made sense—especially since even his coworker admitted I was the first customer ever told that excuse. 2025 still, this hate has to end!
