  I wouldn’t recommend going if you have a skid plate on your vehicle. I went to get my oil changed and the next time I drove my vehicle I learned that I had multiple zip ties holding my skid plate up instead of the clips. I only learned this because I heard what sounded like plastic scraping on the road and my boyfriend confirmed their presence (and I was never informed of the zip ties.) I called and spoke to manager Wade who was very helpful and apologized and said if I came in his assistant manager would fix it. So, I went in and was assured that it wouldn’t be an issue. 3 days since the initial oil change the zip ties are still present. I’m going to the dealership to have them inspect for any damages because I can no longer trust Valvoline. Skid plate issue aside their customer service is very good, and they explained everything that they were doing involving the lights, oil, and air filters.

  I bought a battery for my wife's car from them, which is now bad. My wife has to jump it nearly every day. They said, "Your battery is checking good. Go to Auto Zone and have them check the alternator." Auto Zone says the alternator is good. I go to Floyd Imports for brake work, and they say, "The battery is bad. You should have Valvoline replace it since it's under warranty." Valvoline hooks their "magic meter" up to it, and they say, "It's better than good. Look - (despite the meter showing it's near the caution light) - it's actually better than good. It's putting out more CCA's than it's rated for." Oh, so my battery is better than new, huh? Then why with a good alternator does my battery have to be jumped every day? I had to jump it after picking it up just 30 minutes before I went to Valvoline. "Oh, well, we would be charged for the battery if we replace it under warranty and it's still good." Well, whatever it costs, you've now lost a customer, which is a a lot more expensive to acquire than whatever that battery costs. I'll pay Floyd Imports for a new battery, so my wife no longer has to jump her car to drive it.
