I brought my car in for over heating and he had the car months. When I got it back I spent $2000 and it still over heated. Then I brought it back for warranty work. It is simple. New water heater and timing chain. He has had it for 3 months and won't answer the phone. It is simple repair. Somehow he can't get it done???????

Brent and Tory have not only a great vehicle repair facility, but they are truly honest and wonderful people. I now call them friends after knowing them. They have worked on many of the fleet vehicles I was in-charge of in the past as well as my own. Brent is extremely knowledgeable, what I would call a true old-time mechanic who would know it all regarding vehicle repair. I have recommended them to friends/neighbors/acquaintances and strangers and have heard back nothing but positive reviews. I do a lot of my own vehicle work, but if it is beyond my skill level the first call is to Brent and Tory. I will guarantee you the people who leave less than five stars are not telling the whole story and are probably fibbing just a bit. Sometimes one just cannot please a person no matter what they do. I rarely trust a dealership's mechanics as they are now 'technicians' not true old school mechanics. Brent is that old school extremely knowledgeable mechanic. Plus, their prices are very reasonable.
Tory & Brett have always been amazing working on all 3 of my cars! I have a 2008 Chevy equinox & blew a head gasket on my car, this man worked really hard for months! Tory always keeps a strong communication. He got me up & running, I will always recommend him to anyone! He always gets the job done on my moms as well. He works in a good timely minor. Great reasonable prices!

(Edit) The problem they said was wrong with my car does not turn out to be the issue, so I paid $500 for a fuel pump and filter and now I’m stranded again, 2 days after getting my car back.
(Original review) I don’t normally leave reviews, but I have to say this was my worst experience with a car shop. They broke two different things in my car. One was my glovebox, which completely fell onto the floor when I went to open it. Another was an internal part that they caught as they were working on my car. The repairs of these two things were of no cost to me. The communication is largely by text, and unless you reach out first, you won’t be hearing from them at all. I only found out that my car wouldn’t be ready on the day they gave me after I sent them a text at 2pm checking if my car was done. This happened 3 times and each time they said it would be the next day. I gave this feedback to the owner but he provided excuses. I noted that this is also a requirement by Illinois Law: The shop must update the consumer if the date they gave for completion changes. They did not do this. I will not be returning as I don’t have time to be checking in every day with the staff and to coordinate rides just for the staff to say it won’t be done until the end of the week, then the following Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday.
