Would leave 0 if possible. Went there for them to replace my tie rods . My vehicle was shaking when stopping. After they replaced my tie rods it was still shaking and now had this grinding and rubbing noise when making a full turn. Took it back they said they could not find anything wrong and was not sure what the grinding was . They recommended I take it somewhere else for a second opinion. I took it to the Dodge dealership. They said the tie rods were bad. I went back to carx, they said the dealership was wrong and didn't know what they were talking about. And that the tie rods were good. And that the car shaking must be the brakes or rotors. And they still didn't know what the grinding noise was. Richard recommended I go to an auto shop of this guy he knows and maybe he can figure it out. Again the grinding noise was not there before they worked on it. And they never got to shaking to stop. I took it back to dealership and let them replace the tie rods and now my vehicle is running perfectly! No issues ! No shaking and the grinding noise is gone ! Horrible experience will never go there again.

I went in to replace my struts and sjly8way bar. they were very helpful. they went out of there way to get me on the road. they helped me get financed so I could pay for service. they even gave me some discounts on services. I will give them 10 stars and will do business again

Awesome service went beyond anyone else.I was in tears wnen RJ had my car done in the same day I mean he worked past work hours just to get it running for me and he even picked up up to take me to my car.best automotive business in Springfield.

Came in for brake service, and these folks were very honest. They wanted to do the job, but my vehicle needed a specific dealer only stocked caliper. Instead of risking it, they were up front with me and gave me the option to take it around the corner to Isringhausen where they’d have the parts.

I didn't use any services - I enjoyed the hospitality of this shop. The bus station in Springfield closes (yes, bus stations in the state capital can close!) at 5 p.m. yesterday, and everyone waiting for a bus is simply kicked out into the cold! But CarX is located three minutes from this bus station and kindly lets random passersby warm up, sit in the warmth, and watch TV, just so they don't freeze for hours waiting for their bus. I am eternally grateful to the CarX staff. I don't care about cars and will never know what kind of mechanics they are, but they are kind and decent people.
