I was wrong. While the guy checking me out was quick and attentive, after hearing the make and model of my car, he let me know that it would take him nearly an entire day to change one bulb and that I was better going somewhere else. I purchased the bulbs and went to a local auto parts store and they changed BOTH bulbs in less than 15 mins. I probably won’t be coming back to this store, unfortunately.
- HAHeather AbentiFeb 3, 20265.0I went in tonight to purchase a battery and have the code on my check engine light read (my suspicion was that my car that spent 14 years at the beach cannot handle the cold and that’s all the light was). Not only did they efficient read the light Chance, but they also installed my battery. This turned out to be a much bigger deal than the average battery install because of the corrosion from 14 years of salt air, and then the interaction of that corrosion with the salt and cold weather here created basically a block that had to be chiseled off my battery. The guys did not bat an eye about the extra time and took care of everything in the cold tonight, which was awesome because I did not have the tools to make the swap myself with me while we were out. I definitely will be back for my future needs which I’m sure will be plentiful since my car has 231K miles on it.
