  I was in and out in about 20 minutes while sitting in the comfort of my car. All the guys were talking with each other going through the oil change process. Made me feel comfortable with tightening the plug and filter.

  Went over service records, weren't pushy about recommended CarFax services, checked parts for recommended services and only one was in need so I had that service completed. Perk of a discount for unexpected service after being quoted a price

  Began using this Valvoline about a year and a half ago as they’re convenient for me. They did the work requested, even though the previous manager felt it was appropriate to complain about corporate as well as personal issue to customers. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. Just last week I had the pleasure of dealing with the new manager. At first, he was friendly and welcoming. When I turned down the engine flush service, his demeanor did a total 180. Rolled his eyes after denying the service a second time after hearing why I don’t know how important it is. He then proceeded to show me engine air filters that were replaced after my last oil change. Nowhere near needing replacement at this time, let alone being dirty at all. When showing a coupon provided by the store’s website, not corporate website but the specific store, the manager said it was expired. As I showed him the date 2 months out yet, he turned to me, and sternly said “look. My system says no. So no.” Wouldn’t honor it anyways. Whatever, it’s more about principle at that point to me. Also left finger prints all over my hood after he couldn’t figure out how to close it. Moral of my rant, this location has a history of poor shift managers, and really needs an overhaul.
