  I have been a monthly member of Waterway Car Wash for a long time, and I visit different locations almost every day. However, what happened on 12/22/2025 around 7:00pm at the 9200 Skokie Blvd location was completely unacceptable. The employees washing my car went through the bag containing my personal belongings without my permission and found a tire shine product that I had previously paid a staff member for at the Northbrook location. I never thought purchasing it that way was against any policy, and the employee who gave it to me certainly did not mention anything about it being prohibited. The workers handed the product to the manager, Logan, who then took it from my bag without asking me any questions and proceeded to treat me as if I had stolen something, making completely inappropriate and baseless accusations. Even after I clearly explained to him that I had purchased the product from an employee at the Northbrook location and that I had not stolen anything, Logan chose not to listen. Instead, he acted in an incredibly rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful manner. To make matters worse, he canceled my membership on his own, without any valid reason. I have been a loyal customer of this company for a long time — I pay my membership every month, I visit frequently, and I regularly tip the staff who work hard on my car. Despite this, Logan’s behavior not only shows that employees accessed a customer’s personal belongings without permission, but also reflects a complete lack of proper management skills on his part. I want to be clear: I am satisfied with this location and the service overall, but I absolutely do not accept the way Logan handled this situation. I hope upper management reviews this incident and takes the appropriate action.

  7:45am, three employees are laughing at the cash register. I paid cash for a car wash and wanted the full services. I ask about the vacuums, which are additional and they “aren’t open until 8am”. Really? So the option I have is to watch and wait? Lame.

  I am a member of their whole thing top premium subscription for the car wash where they do give you the top of the line inside and out and drying and cleaning up the entire car and it is totally worth the price because the first book is only 45.00 and then it's $75 for each month afterwards.

  At first I was iffy about continuing to come here due to my car being left dirty after the whole thing wash and the workers giving me an attitude when I would ask them to fix it, I then met one of the employees, Deno, he has truly changed that experience! He does an amazing job and gives all his effort I would highly recommend him, he deserves his tips due to the results he delivers. If it wasn’t for him I don’t think I’d ever come back to this place especially considering I have OCD but Deno is truly a game changer! he never fails to be understanding and give his all which, delivering amazing customer service. There are other good guys like the managers but none have impressed me like this young gentleman has!

  There really should be a gratuity box inside of your building instead of the staff looking at you when outside waiting for a tip when your car wash is completed. It's very unprofessional also for the staff to be counting how much they just got from the customer right in front of them. Plus on top of paying the monthly membership those customers should not be put in this type of position, staffing expecting the customer to still tip on top of what they pay monthly especially of it's the $75.00 option.
