Most shops told me, the best they could do is a transmission swap. The shops that would rebuild it said that it would be very expensive and that it would have to be a side project that they'd get to when they can. Thankfully when I called RED'S they said that they would be happy to rebuild it! I'm glad I called around before I settled. The guys at RED'S are seriously talented. They got my classic running like new again. Plus the price was right. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.
