The following INACCURATE reasons were why they refused to give my tire a plug: 1) Too little tread. 2) Tire had a heat ring from being driven flat. 3) Tire had dry-rot. I left and went to Discount Tire where they refuted all these issues. The tire actually had more than enough tread...6/32. Was NEVER driven flat. (It went flat sitting in there lot. I had used a compressor to fill it before driving on it.) And being less than five years old, impossible to have dry-rot. They were just trying to force me to buy a new tire.
