However the experience of trying to actually talk to a human being at Safe-Lite is an absolute nightmare that I would not wish on anyone. It is faster to get in my car and drive to Safe-Lite than to try to go through their nightmare of a phone system to get a question answered. Definitely NOT recommending them to anybody, but it seems they now have a monopoly on windshield replacements as you HAVE to go through them if you have State Farm.

- BBBaronOct 21, 20255.0Cannot believe I drove away within 30 minutes after a rock chip on the road (pictured), all thanks to this Safelite Peoria shop on a Saturday. I had never seen a tiny entry chip that affected the plastic between two layers of glass, but the manager assured me it could be repaired. The procedure was smooth. It was easier to let them take my insurance info (most of them now streamlined it well and you did not have to pay). Then the manager explained the risk and the expectation of minor cosmetic flaw, and technicians were on it already. Clean, fill and cure, and all is left (not pictured) is a semi-transparent dot, which is near invisible unless you know where to spot it.
